| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Hampstead MD – September 5, 2025— The Hampstead Volunteer Fire Company (HVFC) will mark its 125th Anniversary with a community celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The day will begin with a parade at 12:00 p.m., followed by an Open House at the fire station.
The parade will step off at Lower Beckleysville Road and Main Street, traveling north to the fire station. Marching units will join the procession at MottAvenue, showcasing both motorized equipment and community participants.
Following the parade, community members are invited to the HVFC fire station for an Open House. The event will highlight Fire Prevention Week 2025 and feature displays and information booths from multiple organizations focused on fire safety, risk reduction, and community support.
Guests can also enjoy pit beef and pit ham, which will be for sale. Attendees may purchase exclusive 125th Anniversary merchandise in support of HVFC.
