Early this afternoon HVFC was alerted for a serious vehicle collision involving a rollover on the Hampstead Bypass at the center traffic circle. While units were enroute Carroll County fire dispatch advised they were adding the Carroll County Hazardous Materials Response Team (HM30) due to leaking fluids.

Units arrived on scene to find a truck hauling logs flipped on its side, leaking fluids. There were no injuries. With assistance from HM-30 crews mitigated the spill and turned the scene over to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and MDOT SHA.
