Weekly Drawings happen every Thursday, at 8 P.M., at 1341 N Main Street Hampstead Volunteer Fire Company. One card is drawn weekly; the drawings continue weekly until the Deuce of Diamonds is revealed. The card drawn (number, facecard, joker) determines the payout to the person whose ticket was drawn for that week. The game is progressive with additional funds added to the jackpot for the next drawing, until the Deuce of Diamonds is drawn and the jackpot is paid out. Then the game starts over the next week with all 54 cards and a new jackpot.

Online Ticket Purchase

This online purchase form will remain open for ticket sales each week until (Thursday) at 5:00 pm. It will then close so that tickets purchased during the preceding week may be prepared for entry for (Thursday) night drawing. Online ticket sales will re-open within 24 hours after the drawing, earlier as personnel permits

In-Person Ticket Purchase

Tickets will be available via self-service or in person at Hampstead Volunteer Fire Company facilities daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ticket sales on drawing days will end at 5:00 p.m. sharp at Hampstead Volunteer Fire Company, and all tickets must be placed in the drum by 7:25 p.m!!

The purchases will be self-service. Enter the station via the front door on Main Street into the vestibule. Fill out your ticket, there can be only one name per ticket. Review the posted Game Board which shows what card numbers have been drawn and what numbers are available. Write your full name, just as it appears on your driver’s license or social security card, telephone number AND the number of the available card you’re requesting. Do not use nicknames, initials, group names or abbreviations as this could cause complications when collecting any winnings. Place your ticket with the $5 cash money (No Checks) paperclipped to it, into the black mailbox on the wall.

If the ticket is not filled out completely and correctly, or the handwriting is not legible, the tickets will be invalid and discarded. Name/address labels are allowed but must not exceed the size of the ticket. The winner must present a driver’s license or an online confirmation of ticket purchase to claim the prize if they are the winner.

Deuce of Diamonds Rules

“The Deuce of Diamonds” is a progressive raffle. The initial drawing will start at $2,000 and increase weekly based on ticket sales. We will announce an estimated value of next week’s drawing within 24 hours.

Tickets are $5 a piece, cash purchase only except for tickets that are purchased online (may be subject to processing fee), there is no limit to the number of tickets you may buy each week. Tickets can be purchased after the drawing up until the next drawing.

All players must be 18 years old to play.

Fifty-four (54) playing cards, standard deck plus two (2) jokers are shuffled then placed face down on a mounting board purchased from a certified gaming vendor; the cards are numbered one (1) through fifty-four (54) and are sealed to the board.

The winner need not be present.

Only one (1) ticket will be drawn from the drum each week. If the card drawn does not reveal the Deuce of Diamond, the next drawing will be held on the following (Thursday) at 7:30 pm at 1341 N Main Street Hampstead Volunteer Fire Company.

If the card revealed is not the Deuce of Diamond, the following amount will be paid.

  • Cards number 2 to 10 will receive $50 (35)
  • Face Cards Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces will receive $75 (12)
  • Jokers will receive $100 (2)

Once a card is selected, it will be turned over with the card face up on the board. If the Deuce of Diamonds is not selected the game will rollover to the next week. It could take up to 54 weeks for the Deuce of Diamonds to be drawn. After the drawing, all tickets for that week’s drawing will be destroyed.

Note: A new ticket must be purchased for each weeks drawing to participate.
