On October 23th my husband had a massive heart attack. i appreciate their help and support

On October 25th I was in an accident at Manchester Valley High School. I was trapped in my car full of panic. Then a face showed up in my view. He was a wonderful cadet who just talked to me and calmed me down. I have not forgotten how much it meant. The little things make a big difference. I got to talk to him today, just by chance. His name is Isaac. He is a blessing and I'm very grateful to him. I'm also very proud of him. He is a great asset to Hempstead Fire Company.
I also want to thank everyone who was there for the awesome care I was given along with my dog Roxi. She was also very shook up. However after the attention she received she was feeling a little better. Thank you to everyone and God bless all of you!

I love what this company is, I have been there for food trucks event and love the voluntters and love the company and love the firefighrers. I hope you guys continue doing cool things

While researching my Shugars genealogy, what a treat it was to find our own Robert Thomas Shugars listed as the first Assistant Secretary. Would love to know if you have any photos, other than the ones on your site. Robert was born in the old Shugars-Gist house on Main Street. The house was torn down to make room for the banks parking lot. Robert's father, James Lynch Shugars, owned land around the parking lot for his blacksmith shop. There are photos in the Hampstead The Way It Was. James' step-brother, Samuel Wells Shugars built a house on Black Rock Road and his son, my grandfather William H. Shugars also built a house a few doors down. These are the two old farmhouses the left on Black Rock Road coming from Main Street. Robert eventually joined the Post Office and moved to Baltimore City. Thanks for including Uncle Robert in your history. Cindy Shugars Kohl

This is the second time in five momths I have been transported by the Hampstead Fire Department. I thank you for the professional way I was treated in my crisis. Excellence in Communication, Courtesy, Saftey, Attitude, Teamwork. I felt very secure with the teams that assisted me on October1,2011 and March3,2012 to Carroll Co. Hospital. Good Job! Well done! Our Community is so fortunate to have dedication at the top of the list.

I was an active member from 1948 until 1969. I visit the station whenever I get back to Hampstead.

G'day from Down Under, I have a Hampstead Vol Eng & H C patch 1900-2000, in my collection of over 5500 U.S. fire patches, unfortunatey the trim is missing, could you please inform me of the color of the trim so that I can get the trim put on????

Thank you to the HVFD Company 2 for all you do in the community!! Although we missed you on your Santa route this year, I know that you made many, many children and families happy. This is a tradition for our family for at least the last 13 or 14 years(weather and scheudules permitting). We love knowing that Christmas is almost here when we see Santa on the fire truck visiting all the children. Please continue your tradition and thank you for your service to the Hampstead community.
