On Friday evening around 1807, Box alarm 9-5 was dispatched for a reported house fire on Pleasant Plains Drive. Truck 2 responded quickly followed by Engine 23. While the Hampstead units were en-route, a State Fire Marshal arrived on scene and reported the working fire. Truck 2 was the first to arrive and Lt. 2-1 assumed Pleasant Plains command. Engine 23 arrived and made an interior attack along with the crew from Gamber. The fire was knocked in about ten minutes and units remained on scene for several hours for extensive overhaul.
