| On Saturday, September 26th the Hampstead VFC Juniors participated in the Carroll County Volunteer Emergency Services Association (CCVESA) Fall Junior Firefighter Day at the Carroll County Public Safety Training Center.
The day started early, with our Juniors arriving at 7:15 AM and wrapping up around 2:00 PM. Along with 91 Junior Firefighters from 11 Carroll County volunteer fire companies, our members spent the day learning, training, and building skills they can use in the future.
Our Juniors rotated through five hands-on training stations:

πΉ Rappelling & Stokes Basket Operations
πΉ The Maze
πΉ Stop the Bleed certification through Shock Trauma
A great day of training, teamwork, and learning!
A huge THANK YOU to the CCVESA Junior Committee for putting together this outstanding event, and to all of the Advisors and firefighters who volunteered their time to plan and operate the training stations.
