Around eight o'clock Thursday evening units from Hampstead and Manchester were dispatched to assist with an aircraft emergency landing. Truck 2 responded and soon after Engine 23 as well but was put in service shortly after by Baltimore County Units already on the scene. Truck 2 arrived to find units from the Arcadia and Boring Vol. Fire Departments already on scene and a small Single Engine Cessna safely landed in a corn field. Both occupants were unharmed and the plane only had engine damage which was the reason for the landing. Truck 2 remained on scene with Maryland State police until the plane was secured and it was determined there were no hazards.
