| The Hampstead Volunteer Fire Company and the Junior Fire Company were invited to the annual Garden Party at Spring Garden Elementary School on Saturday, May 12th. Engine 23 remained in service at the event and Utility 2-1 transported the juniors. While Engine 23's crew and some juniors gave tours of the apparatus to adults and children, other juniors explained the function of the Junior Fire Company hoping that future firefighters, many of whom start their careers as junior firefighters, will be interested in joining the fire company. The fire company appreciates the opportunity to be a part of the Garden Party. It was a nice day. |
