Thursday night, severe thunderstorms rolled thorough the region bringing large down-pours and wet conditions within the county. At about 1700 hours, Medics 28 and 49 and Stations 2, and 4 were alerted for a "vehicle collision on the Hampstead Bypass, reported road sign on vehicle". When en route, the station 4 unites cleared, as Truck 2 located the incident on the bypass near the 482 circle. Truck 2 handled the assignment with a SUV underneath the bypass sign. There was no rescue at location and Medic 28 transported three priority 3 patients to Carroll Hospital.
