At 7:51 this morning, Engine/Tanker 24 responded to a van fire in the 1600 block of Brodbeck Road. The van, blocking the two lane road, was fully involved when ET-24 arrived at the location. The fire was quickly extinguished and the van was overhauled. No was injured; the driver had exited the vehicle safely. Hampstead Police had closed Brodbeck Road for approximately one hour.
