Box alarm 2-1 was dispatched Saturday afternoon for a reported house fire on Houcksville Road. The 911 center received calls from a neighbor who reported smoke from the house. Engine Tanker 24 arrived on scene to find smoke showing and a working fire. Crews made entry and an interior attack knocked the fire. Units remained on scene for multiple hours to salvage and overhaul the structure.
