Early in the evening on March 27th box 2-17 was struck out for the basement fire in the 800 block of Gaming Square. Engine Tanker 24 , Truck 2, and Engine 23 as well of many neighboring companies responded. Hampstead units arrived on scene and advised "smoke showing". Crews went to work deploying a hose line to the basement while other crews searched the house to ensure no one was still inside. All primary searches were negative, as the occupants were out prior to arrival. Crews put a quick knock on the fire and ventilated the structure.
